About I Rise Cafe
The Chief Theater opened on January 21st, 1939. It was one of three downtown movie theaters and operated continuously until 1994. Since then, it has served various purposes, including as a bingo hall, a senior center, and several bars. The theater is currently I Rise Cafe and being opened up as a Big Turn music venue!
