About the Venue:
Christ Episcopal Church was founded in 1855 and our current church building was dedicated in 1871 by Bishop Henry Whipple. Bishop Whipple was an important figure in the history of the State of Minnesota and one of the first non-native public figures to advocate for the rights and dignity of Native Americans. The building itself is a prominent landmark in the city of Red Wing and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Please join us in this intimate concert space while surrounded by the deeply traditional symbols of our faith in Christ.
At Christ Church, we believe Jesus is calling us to be a renewed church engaged in a changing world. Empowered by the Spirit of God, we deepen our bonds with Christ and with others in a community where all are accepted just as God made them.
Address: 321 West Avenue, Red Wing, MN
