Tarli, formally known as EL.i.BE, has been creating waves in the Twin Cities hip-hop scene for over a decade. As a homage to his native country Liberia, his middle name, Tarli, originates from his mother's tribe, meaning '"successful journey"'. Tarli's powerful lyrical journey encompasses the beauty and challenges of being a first-generation refugee in America.
