Why Her is a three piece band located in Winona, MN. Front-woman and guitarist Katy Quirk met guitarist and singer Neil McColl and started writing songs in 2023. Shortly after the songwriting began, Linnea McColl also joined the band on bass and vocals. Drummer Malachi Nelson is also featured during select live events. Their style is consistent with indie rock and basic dream pop style guitars while featuring a female forward vocals. The band has been well received by the local and regional community and continues to write and perform.
