The name Big Turn is a reference to the sharp bend the Mississippi river takes as it flows through Red Wing. Come explore 15 historic downtown buildings as you "Experience Red Wing Through Music."

A weekend that's full of sights and sounds in the middle of Febrrruary. This is a place of music and community and we just hope you packed a pair of stomping boots for your trip. This is the Big Turn Music Fest.

OUR MISSION

The Big Turn Music Festival is dedicated to creating a vibrant and inclusive community experience through the celebration of diverse musical talents. We aim to provide a platform for both emerging and established artists to showcase their artistry, foster cultural exchange, and connect with audiences in meaningful ways. Our mission is to enrich the local cultural landscape, support the arts through music, and contribute to the economic vitality of historic downtown Red Wing.
